Lately I haven't been sleeping well. As a result , my morning blood sugars are between 130 and 170 NOT GOOD for fasting blood sugars. Here is another possible source of low cost test strips. You would have to use the WaveSense meter , but this meter seems like it has been researched and it has special features. I believe you can get the meter for about $10.00.The lowest price source for strips according to my source (  http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/ )         is from Krogers. Krogers also delivers !  Plus Krogers has a web site to order online.The strips are at this time , .36 ( yes thirty-six cents) per strip. There are other sources for supplies listed on the site , however Krogers seems like the best price and the fact that they deliver doesn't hurt ! * by the way , no , I do not have any connection to Krogers other than this information .

Even though I have had diabetes for 21 years , I still have questions and sometimes fears about what is happening or might happen to my body . This site has the most current information that I can find and also has links to even more information . You can also search for a local branch by typing in your zip code. This comes in handy if you need a support group , a refresher course ( where you will find so much new stuff if you have not had a diabetes education for current developements) and you will find that they will go out of their way to help you find resources and financial solutions.
